Help Us Fill the Community Fridge This July! Cheba Hut is answering the Call from The Red Shoes Baton Rouge on Monday, July 14th.

Louisiana faces some of the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation, with children and seniors being the most affected. During the summer months, especially in July when school meal programs are unavailable, families feel the weight of food insecurity the most.

The Community Fridge is a free, 24/7 resource where neighbors can give what they can and take what they need. It’s a simple yet powerful way to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Click here to learn more about the Community Fridge.

This July, we’re asking businesses, organizations, and individuals to pledge just one day to stock the fridge. Your support can make a real difference in reducing hunger and providing hope to those in need.
